We have often been asked by our readers and Amiga vendors to provide some type of award for "the best product of...". I have always steered away from such programs which would be judged by the staff of AC. This is not because we have not created strong feelings concerning one product or another, but because we feel it is in the best interest of the Amiga Community if such awards and accolades should be given by the Amiga users who have purchased and used these products on a very intimate level.
If someone on the staff of AC decided to write a line that says, "Product XZY is the best possible solution for Desktop XYZIFINAS". I believe the sentence would make just as much sense. Let's be honest. We see all the software and, although I began writing about the Amiga
